German Backerhaus is a European – American fusion. In 1986 a German Baker migrated to the U.S. with a motive, to open a German Bakery that not only has the best quality products but also that is good for you. He began milling and hand-baking authentic European style Breads and Pretzels out of his home.

His dream was to hand-craft bread full of real whole grains, seeds, and spices using a “modern” stone mill technology so that each kernel would stay intact, keeping all of the key nutrients the body needs in each loaf. We are honored to continue his legacy, a great pioneer of the organic industry, by ensuring only the highest quality ingredients in all of German Backerhaus recipes.
